And Create Gracefully

No one becomes great because they had a series of comfortable events. They got there because they struggled and had to find something within themselves that they didn’t know was there in order to become more than they ever thought possible. They didn’t get to the mountaintop because it was easy; they got there by slogging through the mud, getting scratched up, falling, getting up again, and persevering.

There’s the narrative that says anything worth having is worth struggling or fighting for. Then there is the opposite narrative that says follow your bliss when you find the right job, the right relationship, it’s easy. These are conflicting views, but neither is true.

The question behind that is for the sake of what?

Instead of making them polar opposites, say this.>>

Anything that really matters is worth fighting for AND when I find the thing that I love I’ll be ok with that fight because it matters that much.

It’s not about it being easy. It’s about knowing that despite the struggle, it’s right for you because you have a place to go, something you want bad enough.

It’s not a question of is it easy. It’s a question of is it right for you.

Focusing on the resistance instead of focusing on the thing you desire creates more resistance.

You can always feel the grace behind the dream you envision if you shift your perspective from whether it’s easy or difficult to understanding that any dream worthy of your energy will have both.

Check to see if you’re still in the flow or if you’re meeting so much resistance that it’s telling you that you’re not where you should be. Then, recalibrate to experience the grace behind your magnificent dream!
