Which leads me to a big f***ing dilemma. So are we saying that the desire to be free shouldn't be acted on, we should just accept what is? There lies the freedom — in exactly what is, let it be?

But then the pain is the sign that something is wrong, the longing for something more, at the very core of our being. The desire for peace, fulfilment, connection, acceptance, hope, love, peace, un-loneliness…..

Hi there. So when I read this it sounded like you were looking for "relief from" loneliness, lack of freedom, etc instead of asking yourself what brings you joy, a sense of peace, the freedom to have a great life and then going to create that. It's not really about acting or not acting on it. Foster is right that it comes from within but that means the exploration of who you are right now is inward. What if it's true that everything you seek is inside you already? When you truly know who you are, you will sense what belongs in your life and what doesn't belong in your life. And hopefully you choose more of what belongs and less of what doesn't belong.

And stumbling is part of the process. It's all a big experiment to see what aligns and what doesn't. You won't know right away. For some it takes months, for others, years, and still for others it may take a lifetime.

Start asking better questions. What does love mean to me? How will I accept myself just as I am today? Where is this longing coming from and where is it taking me? Where do I find my sense of belonging? What would a life filled with peace and freedom look like for me?

I hope this provides another perspective for you. We are all travelers. As Ram Dass said, "We are all walking each other home."
